A WEEKEND OF PURPOSE IN MONTANA'S WILD PLACES

We returned to Big Sky, Montana for another unforgettable Wildlands weekend with Outlaw Partners. Every year, this is where music, mountains, and conservation collide in the best way possible. The event brought together thousands of outdoor lovers, changemakers, and artists to raise vital funds for the places and waters that sustain us. This year’s beneficiaries were the Center for Large Landscape Conservation and American Rivers—two national nonprofits working across ecosystems and watersheds to protect our planet’s natural heritage.

CHARITY NIGHT KICKOFF: SPIRIT, SCIENCE & SONG

The weekend began with a sold-out Charity Night that set the tone for purpose and generosity. Guests were treated to an intimate performance by Lukas Nelson, tastings of our Confluence Collection whiskey with Wildrye Distilling, and a summit-style panel discussion exploring river conservation, large landscape connectivity, and community engagement. A silent auction featuring curated gear and experiences helped raise significant funds for the cause.

ROLLING UP OUR SLEEVES ON THE GALLATIN

On Friday morning, we got to work. In partnership with Gallatin River Task Force and Outlaw Partners, we hosted a hands-on river cleanup along the Gallatin River. Nearly 50 volunteers joined us to collect trash and protect this critical waterway. To sweeten the deal, we launched a friendly cleanup challenge, awarding the winners coveted Sky Box tickets to that evening’s concert. It was a day of purpose, sunshine, and community action on the banks of one of Montana’s most beloved rivers.

MUSIC UNDER THE STARS, MONEY FOR CONSERVATION

As the sun dipped behind Lone Mountain, the Wildlands stage lit up with electrifying performances by Molly Tuttle, Lukas Nelson, and the legendary Dave Matthews. The energy was palpable and the generosity just as powerful. Together, festivalgoers helped raise an incredible $650,000. In a surprise moment that brought the crowd to its feet, Dave Matthews matched the total donation—bringing the grand total to $1.3 million raised for conservation.

RIVERS ARE LIFE, AND SO IS COMMUNITY

This weekend reminded us why we do what we do. Conservation is about more than preserving landscapes—it’s about people, passion, and partnerships. From river cleanups to artist collaborations and whiskey tastings to powerful conversations, Wildlands weekend continues to be a place where action meets inspiration. We are honored to be part of it and we’re already looking forward to what next year brings.
