A FUNDRAISER FOR FRIENDS OF THE FOX RIVER

Friends of the Fox River starred in Watershed Warriors, a Rivers are Life film that highlights the leaders who have loved the Fox River their entire lives and their work to improve the watershed and secure its future through community education. 

FILM SCREENING FOR THE COMMUNITY

To amplify their film's impact, Friends of the Fox River hosted a community screening and fundraiser. Food was donated from a local restaurant, and they were able to use venue space for free. They charged a set ticket price and sold refreshments for those in attendance, resulting in thousands of dollars raised in support of their mission. The event also garnered local media attention, bringing even more attention to this incredible organization's mission and their River Heroes efforts. 

Rivers are Life was thrilled to support this event by advising Friends of the Fox River on how to host the screening and marketing the event to our global community.
