ROCKING FOR CONSERVATION AT WILDLANDS FESTIVAL
Rivers are Life headed to Big Sky, Montana to help raise awareness of the importance of our natural spaces. Our friends at Outlaw Partners organized a weekend supporting three amazing conservation organizations: Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Greater Yellowstone Coalition, and Wild Montana.
CHARITY DINNER & SUMMIT
The weekend was kicked off with a ticketed, charity dinner, silent & live auction, summit style panel discussion, and private concert by Lukas Nelson. The evening event brought together nature lovers to raise money for conservation.
Rivers are Life was proud to help raise funds in three ways:
- Donated $45,000 to sponsor the weekend
- Designed commemorative shirts with Outlaw Partners to be included in the weekend’s merch shop
- Donated a signed, limited-edition Toxic Art print by artist John Sabraw to the silent auction, simultaneously bringing awareness to the impact mining waste has on rivers through the associated film, Toxic Art
A speaker panel moderated by Joe Borden and featuring representatives from Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Greater Yellowstone Coalition, Wild Montana, and Rivers are Life, shared insights on the valuable work happening in the conservation space.
A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER
As the weekend continued, musical guests Dierks Bentley, Maren Morris, Lukas Nelson, Wyatt Flores, Fader Magavin and the Risky Livers, and Side Piece helped continue the momentum with incredible performances.
Saturday night saw the presentation of 3 checks in the amount of $101,000 each given to Gallatin Valley Land Trust, Greater Yellowstone Coalition, and Wild Montana for a total of $303,000 raised.
