EDUCATING THE TROUT FISHING COMMUNITY ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LA RIVER
Rivers are Life was invited by California Trout to premiere River of Angels in their International Fly Fishing Film Festival. The 2022 festival brought back in person film showings with giveaways and Q&A sessions. Representing Rivers are Life, Kate Ritcher Green traveled to California to participate in the event. The question and answer session allowed Kate to talk about who Rivers are Life is and what it was like filming on the LA River.
As part of our education and awareness initiative this festival allowed us to get out in front of a river centric group. Bringing the story of our River Heroes to the forefront and highlighting the beauty that is the LA River.
